The He-Shes
Who we are...
The He-Shes are a Johannesburg-based rock band formed in August 2006 by Nick Wilson (vocals), Kevin O'Grady (drums), Charles Tanton (guitar) and Richard Pfisterer (bass). Since then the band -- influenced by 60s garage, 70s punk and modern alternative rock -- has grown in stature in the Johannesburg underground rock scene and developed a cult following. The group's quirky lyrics and song subject matter have also attracted the attention of the media and hip radio stations. Pfisterer left The He-Shes at the end of August 2007 and talented multi-instrumentalist Brendan Peacock has taken up bass duties...
